The Native American Student Association seeks to provide social, political, cultural and academic support for Massachusetts Institute of Technology undergraduate and graduate students of Native American descent and Native student allies. NASA allows Native American students to connect with similar students through their cultural history and individual experiences as Indigenous people. This goal encompasses the development of members as future leaders and mentors of Native Americans and will provide a network to allow discussion and innovative problem solving on the issues faced by Indigenous peoples. NASA also seeks to educate the MIT community on facets of Native American life and ensure that the community and its leadership maintain MIT as an equitable and secure place for Native American students and all students of color.
